PROPERTIES

Dimer acid is a viscous transparent acid, at higher temperatures, the carboxyl group on a variety of reactions can occur, a common reaction with amines into amides, containing traces of dimer acid and a small amount of monomer acid Three poly acid.

Dimer acid can dissolve in most organic solvents, insoluble in water. Dimer acid is stable, non-toxic, non-volatile, flash point, flash point; low-temperature

ice-free characteristics, has high viscosity and good adhesion.  

APPLICATIONS

A, dimer acid with amines in different dosage of additives (excipients) participation can generate a variety of different molecular weight of polyamide, a large number used in the manufacture of plastic bump version of printing ink.

 B, dimer acid and polyamine reaction with active amine polyamide, widely used in manufacturing two-component epoxy paint and epoxy binder, cured with good mechanical and electrochemical properties. In addition, can be used to manufacture a variety of low-temperature, low pressure of special lubricants, anti-corrosion oil and surfactant.

C, dimer acid used in manufacture of hot melt adhesive, and widely used in the manufacture of Posts and Telecommunications, telecommunications equipment and cables thermoplastic products such as adhesive bonding.
